The superego is a part of personality (according to Freud) that is developed via our parents and greater society regarding what is right and good. It is the part of our mind that is strictly ethical and moral. It is in contrast to the Id. An over-active superego can make us feel ashamed and guilty often.

So are we not finishing Genie in class tomorrow and just doing the socratic seminar? Because first period didn't finish it...
Brie,
I am going to guess you will finish it. Enjoy the seminar, it will go fast!
Ok good, because we barely started it so I don't have a whole lot to discuss. ;) Thanks!
This doesn't have to do with the video, but can anyone explain what the superego is. I'm confused on that

ohh so how she like started to recall her memorys with words? a cognitive change perhaps?
for cog you could also look at how she regressed that could be because she felt that those parental figures left because of something she did.
