Nearly 1 in 5 troops has mental problems after war service

WASHINGTON - Roughly one in every five U.S. troops who have survived the bombs and other dangers of Iraq and Afghanistan now suffers from major depression or post-traumatic stress, an independent study said Thursday. It estimated the toll at 300,000 or more.

Mr. Caro said...: It is not new to this war. Vets coming home from all wars suffer this and there is little debate regarding the U.S. Government needing to provide better care for the returning troops.; 9:23 AM

I know they people think they wont be in that mental state of mind. but if i was going to someone elses war I would probably get the same feelings because we really are killing someone who could be a friend if you got to know them. it almost seems pointless.; 9:40 PM
