Ughh. I definitely did not want Obama to win. Quite frankly, I wouldn't be happy either way. But I wanted McCain to win over Obama, at least, despite my dislike for Sarah Palin.
I'm just glad the stupid election is just about done. I'm sick of people talking about it!
I suppose I am glad O'Bama won, just so I can hear all the ignorant neo-conservative talking-heads and capitalist pigs complain about tax hikes for the rich. But make no mistakes about it, I am no fan of the American two-party system. It simply means electing the lesser of two evils every four years. A true shame that the people are forced to cope with such party politicians. Only in the abolition of our current system and the establishment of a true people's republic is there hope for this nation...
I agreed with her on issues and liked her as a person. Did I think she was the best candidate for VP? Not really, but to be honest I would not have been disappointed if she were to be VP.
Oh my goodness! I totally agree with Rachel. I am just happy that the elections are over and done for. The only thing is that I really wanted Mccain to win because I agree with his ideas and issues. To me Palin is fine also. I just wished that Mccain had won (this is also because of my religion, we agree with Mccain all the way, lol).
Oh well Congrats to the new President.
Haha will you ever tell us who you voted for or would of voted for?
I'm glad I chose to check out this old thread. There could not have been a better outcome for Indecision 2008! Well, I think that anyone who didn't/doesn't support Obama will find that he does a good job and actually makes a good deal of change. (As he swears.) I trust him from all I've seen, and I think that had the election gone the other way, things would be somewhat stagnant, which is a complete waste of America's time. I've paid a great deal of attention to what went on this election, and all the negative things I've heard about Obama have been unwarranted or untrue. I couldn't say that for the other candidates though... Also, all the people who keep saying (because we should acknowledge that it's being said) that Obama is going to get assassinated are only contributing to the negative attitude which could lead to something that horrible. If the American people have learned ANYTHING from our required World History class, they should see that the presidents who've been killed generally come out looking like good guys who made a lot of progress. (eg. Lincoln & Kennedy) Oh, and for the record- Obama did NOT swear into the Senate on the Koran. That was Keith Ellison. (Nor is he Muslim, not that it should matter.) Ok, I'm done. And I'm psyched for the next 4 years!!!

How about the sound of silence? That is a good sad song from S&G.
I am much happier with Obama than McCain.
GOBAMA
Obiden and Joebama are awesome.
Pretty happy.
P.s. here's the link to that Mr. Rogers video Conor and I were talking about. Make sure the sounds on!
I was hoping for Obama to win. I think both of them are capable presidents, I just don't agree with McCain's ideas.
