The below video is one of my favorites for sure! The symbolism of the light and darkness is really well done! I have my own ideas, but how would you interpret it? What do you suppose the house means? The police car? The trees, etc.?

Ah man, back to homework again. I was getting used to not having any. Mr. Caro, how long do you expect the learning perspective section to last?
That video was really weird. It is hard to explain what everything symbolizes to me though. It brings out emotions and feelings rather than logical understanding for me.
Yay, more big projects to worry about. Hopefully this one is a group project *cough+wink*
Not to worry Robert, this project is fun for sure! And yes, it is a group project...but select the groups wisely. There is work to be done!
Robert Combs...again
Work AND fun. I heard myths of the two coexisting in one activity. But i never believed i would see the day...
I'm liking the ocean pic.
Almost as good as the Anderson Cooper-worthy tie you sported today.
I now officially grade everything based on an
"Is it AC360-worthy?" scale.
Everything.
Nice! I like the new scale.
Yeah, judging from my own attire, I rank very low on the AC scale :(
But maybe one day I too can strive to be as classy as the Silver Fox
*sigh* Some day...

Hey the tests aren't on esis yet!!! I get to keep my good grade for a little longer!!! Hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is that picture another painting of that Ritcher guy?
Nicki!
Yes, it is a painting but by Gerhard Richter.
That video was a little creepy. Like the light in that guy's mouth as he sang. That creeped me out.
I did, however, like how the lights were going with the beat of the music. That was kind of cool. Kind of like that one guy who programmed their Christmas lights to be synchronized to "Wizards of Winter" by the Trans-Siberian Orcestra.
That video was pretty awesome, but, to be honest with you, when it first started, I got a little scared. The guy with the light in his mouth was kind of creepy.
I thought the video was really weird, but I liked the song...do you know what it's called and who it's by?
I am glad you liked the song Brittany! Alexander and Paje, it is a creepy video and that part is a little unexpected!
The song is by David Gahan, and the name of the song is Kingdom
Do we get extra credit just for watching Gattaca and then can get some more extra credit by writing a reflection on it?
Paje,
That is correct.
Cheers!
I was wondering if I'm going to miss anything today?
Mr. Caro!!!!!!!! I brought my extra credit paper, Gattaca, today but I forgot to turn it in. Can I just email it to u or bring it tomorrow?
Thanks Mr. Caro!
Phuong!
Of course! I just graded your essay, so check eSIS! Awesome work!
