Caro! 23 hours of volunteering done! So far! Bam!

By the Wolf Parade show was crazy. People were getting sloshed and there were way too many people but it was a great show.

Rock on! That is great! Yeah I see Wolf Parade being a major booze fest. And that is not a good thing. I am glad you had a great time!

Ugh yeah. It was gross. For instance, I really want to see We Are Scientists sometime and Franz Ferdinand especially but I'd be concerned about the uh alcohol intake before/during those shows..

In response to your comment on my blog: I'm going to continue adding more music! Else by Built to Spill is great, and to be honest, I first listened to them off your own playlist thing. So..thanks!

My pleasure! I found some new stuff myself on your list and elsewhere I would like to update my player with!

Hey Mr. Caro!
How is your summer?

So I just checked my IB test and I was wondering what passing was...

Mr. Caro said...

Vikki,

A 3 is passing, but that doesn't really matter, what matters is a 30 overall across all exams. Send me an e-mail with your score! I have not seen them yet!

Mr. Caro, I thought it was 24 to pass overall...? Avg of 4 each

Oh, and I'm volunteering at the Providence Bridge Pedal on Sunday with Jayati!

and have you seen the movie The Pianist? I'm listening to the soundtrack right now and it is probably my favorite movie soundtrack.

Mr. Caro said...

Oh, I think the 30 is important for OSU and sophomore status.

Have fun at the Providence Bridge Pedal!

No I haven't seen that movie but I have heard really good things about it! Isn't it about WWII?

luangrath said...

Oh, okay I see. My bad.

It is my favorite movie! Part of the reason is because I am a sucker for classical music. But yeah it is about Nazis and the Holocaust and what-not and chronicles the life of Polish pianist Wladyslaw Szpilman played by Adrian Brody (he got an Oscar) and there are some incredible scenes and piano playing in that movie. I highly recommend it. It's sad but uplifting at the same time (well, at the end I guess)

I will be sure to check it out! Thanks for the recommendation Narintohn!!!
