I just got done watching that video && looking at that picture close up and all I have to say is that these wars affected many people! And destroyed basically everything in it's path!

Indeed Joan! For many Europeans this was though perhaps the 'end of the world'. Little did they know what was to come in 1939!

Question. Did the guide prepared by the British Foregin Office create the ethnic unrest in Austria-Hungary? I understand that it was previously known for keeping the peace on the border of Europe for some time. Why is that?

Hmm sounds a bit too conspiratorial. As nationalism increased, the pressure was building against the Austrians in Bosnia. The whole region was (and still can be) a hot bed of ethnic clashes.

Hmmmmm. Sounds a bit confusing. The video kept referring to how the British, (I think) were breaking down the different ethinic groups by stereotypical physical characteristics. It made it seem as if this caused a great deal of conflict in Austria. I don't know. I may have interpreted wrong.
